An Ancient Mountain
Pamela Kribbe channels Mary Magdalena
Dear friends, I am Mary Magdalene.
I am in your midst, not far away from you, but very, very close, closer than two bodies can be together – I am in your heart. I feel your pain and the spiritual despair that this causes. There is a hurt in you coming from deep within you, because during this time you are letting go of a lot and integrating much. The pain comes from so deep that it beats you down at times and causes you to be discouraged.
Feel the depth of your pain, but be not afraid. Feel, in your depth, the fear that is there from the past, although often, you feel it only partially. It is the fear of truly living from your source, from who you are on a soul level. It is the fear of being rejected; the fear of not being able to be yourself in this reality.
Feel also in your being the desire for love, the desire for unity and connection; a longing for belonging, for coming home. Feel the depth of that yearning. Even though it hurts, even though you will experience solitude and separateness, the depth of your desire and the depth of your pain say something about the greatness of your soul. Your soul will not rest until you have unearthed all that is inauthentic and released it. You are pure in your being, which is precisely why you will have to work through and let go of all kinds of illusions which this world holds as being true.
You are looking for love. In your life’s quest, you seek love in relationships, beginning with your parents and later with peers and with a partner or loved one; but you will find many pitfalls there. You find in the other, as well as in yourself, the sheer powerlessness, the pain and desolation that can occur in relationships.
In the field of work and creativity, you experience, as a pure soul, the desire to express yourself from your heart, to give of yourself and to do it fully, and that desire comes from the very nature of the soul. The soul is like a radiant star: she wants to shine. From the power source that she is, the eternally creative core, the soul wants to create, to experience, and to radiate, to share herself.
In that outpouring and giving of herself, the soul also undergoes pain, darkness, and negativity, and at such times, the rays of the soul are held back. The light of the soul may even become completely withdrawn because of resistance, discouragement, and pain. However, doing this is not wrong. The soul then integrates her light, her consciousness, within herself, and this leads to a process of transformation, a form of alchemy. From there, the soul manifests with renewed vigor and will pour out into the world.
You all are caught up in this alchemical process in which you transform the experiences you gather in this lifetime, as well as those from previous lives. And this is an intense process that demands dedication and, above all, belief in yourself. Do not get discouraged by the images, expectations, and ideals of the world around you. Many of its ideals and energies are still based on fear, the survival instinct, and on ideas about relationships and creativity that are not grounded. Know that this is a time of profound change that requires extreme concentration of your being, your awareness. It demands extreme focus on who you are in your depths.
I ask you now to turn your attention, your consciousness, toward your body. Let your breath drop quietly into your abdomen. Feel your abdomen from within; feel the center of peace and quiet that is located there. It is a non-emotional core, one that is very grounded and connects with everything human here on Earth. It permeates your humanity with consciousness.
At this moment, experience your soul in your abdomen. Feel the powerful consciousness that lives in you, the part of you that has been here on Earth many times. That part is as solid and strong as a rock that has undergone all the seasonal factors: rain, storm, cold, and blazing sun. Feel the core of power in that rock that is present in the depths of your abdomen. It is your foundation and it carries both the energy of the Earth as well as that of your soul and of the Sun and Cosmos – here is where they come together. Let the energy of that rock stream through your thighs, through your knees, and all the way down to your feet. Feel grounded, as strong as an ancient mountain.
If you are an ancient mountain, your sense of time is very different; a human lifetime is very short, as short as a single breath. Imagine you are that mountain. You feel the wide-open sky above you and you take in the life around you: the birds, animals, grasses, trees, and the life radiating energy of flowers. You feel how you appreciate life on Earth. You see that there is love in your heart for the Earth and for all that lives here. You sink all the way to the base of that mountain, and you feel how old you are. You feel how immensely much has come and gone, and still you are standing strong. You have internalized countless experiences, and you feel the deep level of being that is located within you.
For a moment, you connect with the entirety of the Earth. You feel her strength and her loving, nurturing awareness. While you are that mountain, your awareness flows over and into the Earth. There is no real boundary between you and her. You relax and you know that you are part of the whole, even though your human mind cannot contain “how” and “what”. You are intensely connected with everything.
Now imagine that from this deep, grounded consciousness you meet yourself as a human being. You are still that mountain, that rock, that load-bearing strength. You see yourself as you currently are, arriving as a human being. That human sits down on you, the rock, the mountain. Now feel the energy of yourself as a human being. Feel how busy and fast your energy is in comparison with the energy of the mountain. How do you, the human, feel as you meet this quiet Earth consciousness? Do you feel doubt or fear in yourself? Or perhaps anger or sadness? Radiate warmth from the mountain into yourself, and let it be a grounding, a foundation. That is what you need in order to feel at home on Earth: to know that you are connected to the whole and that this whole supports you.
Imagine that you as a human are stretched out, lying on your back on that solid rock and you feel supported. You realize that there is really nothing to worry about. This sounds very crazy to the human mind, but it is really so that there are major forces in and around you that you cannot control with your mind. Know that these forces are beneficent. Even though they bring you into areas of experience that are very intense and sometimes painful, still the forces of the Earth and the Sun and Cosmos that come together in you are, by their nature, good, beneficial, and focused on growth.
Now let go of the human world completely, all those social ideals and standards, and feel yourself back home in nature. Feel included in the flow of life that is present in nature. Let energy drain away from your head and connect with Mother Earth from your abdomen. Imagine that Mother Earth is now present in your abdomen; she is now visible to you as a woman, as a female form. Just look at her face, look into her eyes, and ask her to convey a message to you, short and powerful. Receive what she wants to say, in words, or in an image, or as a feeling, and let it work into you.
You are here on Earth to realize your Self, your soul. Nothing you are doing is wrong; every experience is part of your path. Dive in deeper into yourself and do not be afraid. You will come home and discover new, ever deeper strengths in yourself. Life is good. This is a time of transformation on Earth. The more you believe in yourself, and the more you feel the forces of the Earth and the Sun and Cosmos around you, the more you will experience joy in life. That is not to say that problems and experiences, even unpleasant ones, will not keep coming. But through inner peace and belief in yourself, everything receives a joyful glow, and that is what you need. That is what the Earth and humanity have a need for: more gentleness, more letting go. Life wants to redeem you, wants to reach out a hand. Take it.
Thank you for your attention.
