Although this deep fusion has taken place, inevitably, there is also a letting go by allowing the child to complete its way in life in its own unique manner. In this way, motherhood carries two extremes within it: on the one hand, bonding and fusion, and on the other hand, letting go and nurturing the unique qualities of another person.”

The longer you listen to the story of another person, the deeper you will eventually understand and recognize a common core: the same roots in the other person as in yourself. There then emerges a sense of unity, and differences dissolve and you reach out a hand to the other person. And when many people reach out a hand to one another, a fertile ground is created and love flows to Earth. This is what is now happening and all of you here want to participate in this flow, which is why I respect you deeply. We all are on this path together.”
